Case Study: Gumi Cold-Aisle Expansion

Client: Private operator, 1.8 MW contracted capacity Building: 900 m² logistics warehouse, 3.8 m ceiling Challenge: Twelve existing Antminer S19 rows with no room for expansion. Main breaker at 88% sustained load.

Our work: Two-day site visit measuring aisle temps, PDU loads, and forklift paths. We proposed rotating four rows to face a newly enclosed hot aisle, freeing 6 m of cold-aisle width for three additional 42U bays.

Outcome: Client added 18 S19 XP units (2.52 MW total fleet) without upgrading the main breaker. Cold-aisle intake temps stayed below 30°C through a July heatwave. Install completed in nine days following our phased sequence.

Case Study: Daegu Side-Intake Retrofit

Client: Co-location host with mixed hardware Building: 1,200 m², 1.1 m aisles Challenge: Canaan Avalon units installed facing opposite directions after a rushed pallet unload.

Our work: Thermal mapping showed 11°C variance across chips in the same bay. We produced a rotation schedule and temporary ducting plan for the two-week retrofit.

Outcome: After rotation, average chip temp normalised. Client adopted our intake-direction checklist for all future deliveries.
